We will share to you words that you might encounter for
the first time. First word is thespian. Thespian is a technical term for
theater actors. We four are thespians. We are very proud of it. Second word is
the acting area or in simple words the playing area or in simple words the
stage. This is our stage. Third word is blackout. What happens when we have brownouts?
Electricity is gone. No electricity means there is no lights. Blackout means
dimming or turning off the lights. Final word is blocking. In theater, blocking
means actor positions. There are four basic blocking positions. These are
upstage, downstage, right stage and left stage. Always remember that we always
use the actor’s point of view and not of the audience.
